4100 Detonty is SOLD before construction is complete!

One of the most visible eyesores in the Shaw Neighborhood, which can be seen from 1000,000+ cars per day driving on highway 44, has been sold.   Developer Courtney McCray is about 30% complete with his rehabilitation project at 4100 Detonty but already has it under contract.  The asking price was $205,000.  It was listed for 24 hours.  The home has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.  It is an energy certified home and historic tax credits were used.  The home will have a completely rebuilt front porch (using the original brick) and a two car garage.  There are multiple lots owned by LRA adjacent to the property.  Courtney McCray plans to move forward with a new construction townhouse project several lots to the East, then fill in with single family homes.  SNHC is thrilled with the progress of the project and we look forward to more construction in the near future.
