The Word church completes renovation and welcomes all

I met with Keith Scarborough yesterday, Pastor of The Word church located at 4265 Shaw on the corner of Tower Grove and Shaw Avenue.  Over the past 6 months, he and his volunteers have brought the former Shaw Methodist church, back to life!  They opened the church on Christmas eve with over 150 in attendance.  In addition to renovating the church with new electric, new sound, new multimedia, fresh paint, new floors, new chairs, upgraded stage and refinished wood work, they have renovated the companion building with a new coffee and sitting area, open community space, new day care and new offices.  We would like to personally welcome The Word church to Shaw and thank them for all their work on the building and your interaction with the Shaw community.  We look forward to partnering on events in the future.  http://www.thewordatshaw.org/
