Brickline Greenway
Tower Grove CDC played an early and active role in shaping the Tower Grove Connector, a key segment of the Brickline Greenway—a transformational investment designed to better connect St. Louis neighborhoods through safe, accessible, and people-centered transportation.
The Tower Grove Connector is a 1.8-mile protected cycle track linking Tower Grove Park to the Cortex Innovation Community, with additional improvements including sidewalk and crosswalk upgrades, intersection redesigns, repaving, and new traffic signals to improve safety and mobility for all users.
As a community partner, Tower Grove CDC attended initial meetings, contributed to early planning conversations, and supported community-driven design efforts, helping ensure the project reflects neighborhood priorities and strengthens equitable access to jobs, transit, and key cultural destinations. Community engagement opportunities have been ongoing since 2024, with continued design and construction progressing into 2026.
